Veeam’s Award winning Backup & Replication for VMware is coming to Hyper-V!!!!

Veeam have announced today that their award winning back-up product is now coming to Microsofts’ Hyper-V!

The features from their Award winning VMware backup product will be carried into the Hyper-V Backup and Replication product.

Here is a snapshot of those features we can look forward to;

• Image based back-up – this means no storage base replication whilst overcoming RTO with a typical organisations cost challenges.
• Changed block and tracking – allowing you to back up faster with a smaller window
• De-duplication and compression – allows you to optimise hardware utilisation – saving money on hardware and software.
