Recarta IT was established in 2005 as an end-user subsidiary of Powercore Holdings - a trade only Unix Remarketing and Distribution Company. In March 2008 the company was subject to a management buy-out, when Managing Director, Daren Bland was joined by Toby Harris, Recarta's current Sales Director.

With its head office in the UK, Recarta has established itself as an IBM Premier Consolidation and Virtualisation specialist - by adopting best products in the high-end IBM server and IBM storage marketplace. Recarta IT has grown from strength to strength in designing, delivering and implementing complex IBM Server and Storage solutions for numerous customers covering a wide range of industry sectors both onshore and with a number of clients in the Channel Islands.

Recarta now enjoys the status of being an IBM Premier Business Partner, and IBM XSSC (XIV Storage Solution Centre), In addition, Recarta is also a VMware Professional Partner, Veeam Gold Partner, Citrix Silver Partner and Checkpoint Bronze Partner.

The company has successfully grown year on year since conception. Our latest results to end March 2011 show continued large growth across all areas, Infrastructure Solutions, License management and compliance, and our new managed services division. Our recent IBM award underlines our statement of being one of the leading IBM Partners for complex server and storage solutions as well as one of the UK's fastest growing IT Solution companies.
