Recarta IT was established in 2005 as an end-user subsidiary of Powercore Holdings - a trade only Unix Remarketing and Distribution Company.
In a very short period of time Recarta successfully established itself as a trusted IBM Business Partner to the financial sector. The business slowly added additional skills, accreditations and partners to its portfolio and has established good relationships with many vendors – the vital ingredient of any customers successful supply chain.
In March 2008 the company was subject to a management buy-out, where Managing Director, Daren Bland was joined by Toby Harris, Recarta's Sales Director. Their vision is and remains to become a leading and respected source of IT solutions which maximises existing and future IT investment.
The company has continued to grow in key technical areas such as Desktop Virtualisation, Server Virtualisation, Storage Virtualisation and Asset Management whilst recently being appointed as an IBM XIV Storage Business Partner.
Although Recarta continues to be strong in the Financial Sector – it has gained the respect of many customers in the Public and Private Sectors – both on-shore and off-shore.
